'Portraits': a series of 30 sculptural collages

Expanding and playing with the boundaries between 2D and 3D, this series of work explores plinths, on a horizontal plane, presenting 2D images.  The images are chosen at random, adhering to my practice of creating "Non-Narrative" pieces, as soon as the people have been removed from their context within the magazines they are introduced into a new context, on the 'plinth', having abandoned all meaning, presenting themselves as themselves and nothing more.
